Liberty Bridge (Szabadság-hid, in Hungarian) is the second oldest bridge of Budapest, stretching over the Danube river. Built at the very end of the 19th century, it features art-nouveau design and mythological bird-sculptures. Due to its age and ornate style, Liberty Bridge is one of the quintessential symbols of the Hungarian capital. I digitally altered the original photo, which I took in 2022, to give the picture a sense of motion and playfulness, and also to represent the endless flow of time and history that washes over the city.
