I am an artist, a photographer, an essay writer, an educator, and the mother of two adult, bilingual children who have been raised to comfortably move between languages and cultures.

Born and raised in Hungary, I have been living in the United States since 2000. I have a graduate degree in Africana Studies. Over the past years, I have been working as a documentary and commercial photographer, covering a variety of genres and topics.

I speak five languages, Hungarian, English, Spanish, French and Hebrew. My life has unfolded following my interest in different people, cultures and countries, and guided by a search for the shared aspects of our lives.

While photography came to me at a later stage in my career, through it I have found my true calling: a commitment to authentic, cross-cultural storytelling through the mediums of colour, shadow and light. It is a creative process rich in meaning, ever evolving, leading my spirit along on the journey of life.

My visual work has received winning placements at a range of photography contests and my written work has appeared in a variety of independent media outlets. The list of exhibitions I participated in can be viewed on my gallery homepage.

At the heart of my photography is a human-centered approach — a commitment to capturing the depth, the complexity, the quiet beauty and the challenges of the human experience.
