Cardenas in the Rain
This photo was taken during a passing tropical rainstorm in Havana, on Cardenas street, in September 2024. The piece is part of a series, entitled Captured Landscapes, Cuba - New York, a multimedia collaboration between a Cuban jazz pianist and composer, Elio Villafranca, and myself. An art-documentary photography project, Captured Landscapes does not shy away from the realities of contemporary Havana life but its goal is not to shock - it is to humanize and to participate. Perfect for collectors or for anyone interested in exploring a variety of cultures in a truthful and artistic way.
Options for canvas or deep matte giclee print on fine art paper. Frame around photo not included. Printed photo texture will resemble a painting. Archival canvas is stretched over a 1.5 inch wooden frame, with back panel for added elegance and structural stability.
Limited edition, only 20 for sale.
A portion of ALL Havana photography gallery sales will go to people I met and worked with in Havana. Your purchase helps where it is most needed, independent from governments or nonprofit organizations. To learn more about our project, please click here.
