This photo was taken on a windy summer day when I was travelling on the East-River Ferry from Manhattan to Brooklyn. While it was a cloudless day, the tropical storm force winds inspired me to imagine what the sky would look like if clouds started gathering. I took a photo of the Manhattan side of the river and I replaced the sky with what the wind inspired in me. The brownish color-tone elevates the dramatic, painting-like sense of the scene.
